I was 19 years old when I purchased my first Corvette in 1960. It was a Torch Red 1959 270hp with 8,000 miles and it cost me $1900. Wish I still had it.

After several years, I purchased another Corvette, it was a Torch Red 2004 500 hp ZO6 6-speed with 10,000 miles and cost me $37,000. The engine had been rebuilt with a High Lift Roller Tappet Cam, Heads were redone with larger valves and dual valve springs, larger throttle body, newer intake filter and larger intake tubing, new exhaust headers and exhaust system.

Age and injuries started giving me trouble with shifting, so in 2021 I started looking for a C8 corvette and found a Torch Red used 2LT with many special ordered 3LT systems on the internet. It had 355 miles and after a complete investigation I bought Marlis and my present Corvette.
